The final electoral rolls for all 117 assembly constituencies in Punjab were published on October 12, 2026, after completion of the Special Intensive Revision exercise. The updated rolls list over 2.1 crore electors, including 506 third-gender voters, and will enable them to vote in the forthcoming Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections.

The new total marks a rise from the 1 crore 93 lakh 94 thousand 435 electors recorded in the draft roll released on August 13, 2026. This represents a net increase of 3.64 percent. The rolls are now available for inspection at the offices of District Election Officers, Electoral Registration Officers and Booth Level Officers. Voters can also download them from the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab’s official website and the citizen service portal at www.voters.eci.gov.in.

Chief Electoral Officer Punjab, Ms. Anindita Mitra, stated that every possible effort has been made to reach out to all eligible electors. She also noted that the number of polling stations has been increased from 24,453 to 25,332 to improve accessibility for voters across all districts.

The publication of the final rolls concludes the revision process and prepares the state’s electoral machinery for the assembly elections. Eligible citizens can now verify their details and prepare to exercise their voting rights.
