The Ai+ Nova 2 Power 5G smartphone has been positioned as a capable option for buyers seeking a well-designed device under Rs 20,000, according to a technology review from Chennai updated on 12 October 2026. Lifestyle writer and consumer technology expert Ashwin Rajagopalan notes that the phone stands out in a market where smartphone prices have risen due to higher RAM and input costs by delivering refined looks alongside dependable everyday performance.

The device features a distinctive design available in bold colour options, including a two-tone Blue Fusion, with Deep Purple highlighted for its premium appearance. Despite a 7000 mAh battery, it weighs 222 grams and measures 8.2 mm thick, reflecting effective weight management. A 33W charger is included in the box, and the battery supports usage well beyond a full day for most people.

It is equipped with a 6.75-inch IPS LCD display offering 720 x 1600 resolution, 260 PPI, a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 450 nits. The punch-hole design is noted as an advantage in its segment. Colours appear vibrant indoors for media viewing, though outdoor visibility is somewhat reduced. Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor on a 6 nm process, the phone is offered in 6 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/128 GB configurations. Benchmark tests produced Geekbench 7 scores consistently above 2600, indicating solid performance for the category.

The camera setup includes a 48 MP main sensor paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens at the rear and a 13 MP front camera. Image quality is described as good under optimal lighting, with the ultra-wide option representing a thoughtful inclusion at this price. Additional features such as an IP65 rating and a clean user interface further support its standing. Priced from Rs 16,999, the Ai+ Nova 2 Power 5G is presented as a strong contender among budget smartphones for consumers prioritising design and reliable daily use.
