Abhishek Pathak’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, starring Ajay Devgn, held its ground on its first Monday after a robust long-weekend opening, taking its India net total to ₹193.53 crore by day four, according to trade figures. Released on October 2, the film crossed ₹170 crore in three days and continues to draw audiences despite the usual weekday slowdown.
Trade website Sacnilk reported that the film earned ₹17.03 crore net on Monday from 16,254 shows with 24 percent occupancy. Its opening day stood at ₹62 crore. Collections dipped to ₹53.50 crore on Saturday before recovering to ₹61 crore on Sunday. The strong first weekend allowed Drishyam 3 to outpace the early runs of films such as War and Tiger 3 and to surpass the lifetime total of Awarapan 2.
Ali Fazal, whose film Mirzapur: The Movie recently marked one month in theatres with ₹229.95 crore net in India, publicly encouraged viewers to support the new release. In a social-media note thanking audiences for the response to his own film, he wrote that they should now watch Drishyam 3 and other titles to keep theatres active.
The thriller is co-written, produced and directed by Abhishek Pathak under Panorama Studios and Star Studio18. It continues the story from the 2022 film Drishyam 2 and features Ajay Devgn alongside Jaideep Ahlawat, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav. The Hindi version ends differently from the Malayalam original directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Mohanlal. Early audience response has been positive, placing the film among 2026’s higher earners as it competes with titles including Mirzapur, Hanuman Ansh, Border 2 and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Further weekday performance will determine how quickly it reaches the ₹200-crore mark.
