Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday described a meeting of INDIA bloc leaders with President Droupadi Murmu in Delhi as rather unbelievable after it concluded. He said the group submitted a memorandum stating that the Prime Minister, Amit Shah and Gyanesh Kumar had conspired to destroy Indian democracy.

Gandhi stated that the President did not deny the statements in the memorandum, question them or argue against them. He said she accepted the statements and then told the leaders that they needed to provide her with proof of election chori.

He told the President that the evidence of election chori is known to the entire country. Gandhi added that elections have been stolen, state after state, and that the 2024 election has been stolen.

Gandhi also noted that Mamata ji was putting the nature of the meeting mildly. He provided these details while speaking after the meeting ended.

The comments came as the INDIA bloc leaders finished their interaction with the President in the national capital.
